I Never Did Rug Hook Before. How Is It Done?
Rug hooking is worked by using a written pattern or a graph, laying your crocheted mesh backing on a hard wooden board on your lap for support. I use a cutting board. Rug hooking is done with a hook needle resembling a crochet hook. Begin by grasping the hook with the right hand, reverse if your left handed. The hook should be facing up to enter the mesh backing. Pulling up stranded yarn. Holding the yarn in your left hand underneath mesh backing. Please watch YouTube video for Basic Rug Hooking.
