Hello Kitty Wall Hanging

Hello Kitty is a gift for Ronda’s 4 year old daughther, who visited me last weekend.

It was crocheted by using chart vs. written method. Rows 1-38 was crocheted using a chart.        Rows 39 -76 written instructions. I choose this method to see if there was a difference between chart or written?   Was there a difference?   None! They were about the same. I’m happy with the way it turned out:)

Word Illusion (Sisters Carry Each Other)

Sisters carry each other word illusion was hand knitted and measures 33cm x 60cm.  Illusion knitting uses two colors, your first color is for the background, the second color is for the hidden image.  The right side is the odd number rows and is always knitted.  Each stripe is two rows.  The wrong side is the even number rows, on this row you will knit and purl all on the same row.  Your knitted stitches will be knitted with a Garter stitch rib and your purl stitches will be purled with a smooth Stockinette stitch.  When viewed close up the "words" can not be seen, they appear striped.  When viewed at an angle, or from the bottom up, you will see the Garter stitch ribs and the "Words" image will appear.  It can  can be used as a wall hanging or a placemat.

Sisters carry each other in their heart no matter what, Sisters have empathy for each other, are sensitive toward each other, defend each other, take chances for each other, know each other, stand by each other, teach each other, are there for each other, don't give up on each other and are permanently connected to each other.
